Our people
Peter is a partner in the firm's real estate group and has been at the firm for 30 years and a partner since 1999. He is a highly experienced commercial real estate specialist with particular expertise in dealing with development, investment and public sector work. Peter acts for a number of residential developers and investors in a broad range of advice in respect of residential property. Peter has a particular interest in the Build to Rent sector having advised clients in respect of it for a number of years. Peter also has specialist expertise over many years in the health and education, especially further and higher education, sectors. He also advises clients on investment into affordable housing. Another area of work that Peter is closely involved with is long income investment including commercial ground rents, credit tenant leasing and income strips, both for existing schemes and new developments.
Peter's clients he acts for include Aviva, Royal London, Pensions Insurance Corporation, Just Retirement, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, THAT Group, United Colleges Group, the University of Brighton, Bouygues Developments and Plenary.
Peter is a regular public speaker and contributed the real estate chapter to the Company Acquisitions Handbook published by Bloomsbury.
