Charlene is an associate in our Dubai Corporate team. Prior to starting as an associate Charlene worked in our London office focusing on transactional corporate work with a focus on M&A. Charlene has assisted on numerous corporate matters such as private and public M&A transactions, negotiating commercial contracts and leading due diligence processes. Due to being born and raised in the Middle East, Charlene understands and appreciates the culture and conventions of the region and is dedicated to building her professional experience in the GCC.

Experience includes:
- Advising Cognita, a global private schools group on a number of its acquisitions across the GCC region.
- Advising Gulf Capital and Mitsubishi Corporation in connection with their disposal of Metito Holdings Limited to Alpha Dhabi Holdings, a prominent Abu Dhabi based sovereign wealth fund.
- Advising YUM!, the owners of the Pizza Hut and KFC concepts, in relation to its franchising arrangements and general corporate and commercial matters in the GCC.
- Advising ASCA Capital Limited on its investment in UAE based gym wear brand, Squatwolf.
