He acts for landlords and tenants in retail premises and shopping centres, particularly for institutional landlords such as Aberdeen Standard, Muse Developments, Lothian Pension Fund and Hermes Investment Management. He also has extensive experience acting for corporate occupiers such as Timpson, as well as a well-known supermarket chain and a leading building society, and on acquisitions and disposals.

- Acting for Hermes Investment Management on the Sky Bet pre-let of all eight floors of 4 Wellington Place in Leeds, as well as numerous lettings at the estate to office and retail tenants
- Leading on the acquisition of prominent branches for a building society in Manchester, Bath and Coventry.
