Euan is a Managing Associate in the Finance team in Edinburgh with a particular interest in real estate finance transactions. Euan has extensive experience both in Scotland and in supporting English law qualified colleagues in a variety of real estate investment and development transactions.  He has represented various major clearing banks and alternative funders across the UK, as well as private and overseas investors and private property companies. Recent examples include:

• Advising a borrower – an SPV owned by IP Investment Management – in securing £35,000,000 of development facilities in relation to a 238 residential build-to-rent development at Media City, Manchester
• Acting for Bank of Scotland in funding the Teague Group's 660 home regeneration scheme at the old Ropeworks, Leith
• Advising on the funding aspects of various acquisitions and developments of PBSA schemes in both Scotland and England, including a 277 room scheme in Durham with expected GDV of £26,000,000 and a 207 room scheme in Stirling with expected GDV of £18,000,000, for Hong Kong and Singaporean regulated funds managed through a UK based asset manager
• Advising a European private equity real estate fund in its first UK investment, the acquisition of a residential portfolio London, part funded by a £22,000,000 facility from a major UK clearing bank
• Acting for NatWest, one of three lenders providing a total of £200,000,000 of bridge financing to Home Group in support of their bond issue
