Addleshaw Goddard recognised as a Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality 2026

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard (AG) is once again named one of The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2026, marking the firm’s 17th inclusion in the annual list of organisations prioritising gender equality in the workplace.

Published in partnership with Business in the Community (BITC), the annual list celebrates employers that are embedding gender equality into all levels of their organisations, and it reflects the continued commitment of leading employers to drive meaningful change.

Mary Peterson, Head of Responsible Business & Learning at Addleshaw Goddard, says:

We are delighted to be recognised once again in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality. Being included for the 17th time reflects the dedication of colleagues across the firm to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and progress. While we are proud of the progress we have made, we remain focused on building on this momentum, strengthening support for people of all genders, increasing representation at every level, and playing our part in advancing greater equality across the profession.”

Among the programmes contributing to the firm's recognition is 'How to Flourish', AG’s flagship development programme supporting women to progress into senior roles. The programme has also expanded its social impact through partnerships with organisations including Women4Women, helping participants support and empower women beyond the workplace.

The firm continues to invest in support for parents and carers through initiatives such as 'Parental Pods', which provides mentoring, coaching and peer support for colleagues returning from parental leave. This is complemented by menopause and fertility support, agile working arrangements, and dedicated resources for working carers.

Ndidi Okezie OBE, Chief Executive of Business in the Community, said:

The case for gender equality in business is unequivocal. Now, more than ever, employers must continue to take action on gender equality, creating workplaces where employees can reach their true potential. Progress on gender equality is not only vital for fairness, but for business performance and long-term economic growth.”

Managed by Business in the Community, The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality recognises organisations taking tangible action to address gender inequality and build more inclusive workplaces for people of all genders and gender identities.
