Addleshaw Goddard advises Radius on its £517m banking facilities

The Finance team at international law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised Radius, the global fleet solutions and connectivity specialist, on a substantial amendment and upsizing of its banking facilities.

The new £517 million funding solution was arranged with a syndicate of 10 lenders.

Addleshaw Goddard’s team was led by Partner Ben Edwards, alongside Managing Associate Emma Whitehall. The team also included Kathryn Chick, Jen Reynolds and Ana Pariente Castro in England; Ray Byrne, Padraig Leyden and Robert Bellingham in Ireland; and Nadine Bourgeois, Nikolos Tsagareli and Ole Panzer in Germany.

Radius is a UK-headquartered global fleet mobility and connectivity provider, offering services including fuel cards, telematics, insurance, telecoms and energy solutions. Founded in 1990, it supports more than 470,000 businesses worldwide and manages over 650,000 connected vehicles and assets across approximately 50 offices globally.

Ben Edwards said: “We are delighted to have supported Radius on this significant upsizing of its banking facilities, providing a funding platform aligned to its next phase of growth. Radius continues to expand its international offering, delivering critical fleet and business services that help corporates manage vehicles, energy and operations more efficiently. It was a pleasure to work alongside their advisers at Rothschild to deliver this transaction.”

The AG team worked closely with Chris Petre-Hoyle and Ash Jacobs at Rothschild.
