BRCK acquires fencing specialist Jacksons in £19.9m deal with AG advising

Addleshaw Goddard has advised construction materials distributor BRCK Group on its acquisition of H.S. Jackson & Son (Fencing) Limited.

The transaction includes an initial consideration of £15 million, alongside a further £4.9 million payable on completion in respect of Jacksons’ land and property.

The team at Addleshaw Goddard previously advised BRCK on its IPO and admission to the AIM market in 2019 and has continued to advise the group since then including in relation to a number of acquisitions.

Kent-based Jacksons is a designer, manufacturer and installer of premium timber and steel fencing, gates and perimeter security systems for the residential, commercial, industrial and high-security markets. 

The acquisition of Jacksons, which is expected to complete later this month, will expand the breadth of products and services provided by BRCK, and enhance its growth opportunities. 

The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by Corporate Partner Murray Jack, and included Jordan Kerr, Thomas Snodgrass, Martin Devine, Catriona Campbell, Struan McLennan, Stephanie Ross, Alexandra Fricke, Lisa McNeill, Alana Turnbull and Heather Gibson.
