International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised long standing client, Rathbones Group Plc “Rathbones” on its all-share combination with Investec Wealth & Investment Limited.


The combined business creates the UK’s leading discretionary wealth manager and is valued at £2 billion. 

Addleshaw Goddard has advised Rathbones for many years across a variety of acquisitions, debt and equity financings, disputes, pensions and other matters.

The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by partners Simon Wood, Graham Cross, Charles  Penney and Damon Rosamond-Lanzetta, alongside Lucy Robson, Liam Gasior and Louise Pritchard. 

The team advised on all aspects of the transaction which remains conditional amongst other things on regulatory and shareholder approval.
