Addleshaw Goddard has further invested in its cross-border corporate capabilities with the hire of Nordics expert Ann Grewar.

Ann joins Addleshaw Goddard as a partner from law firm LOGOS, where she led their London Corporate team. She advises a wide range of clients on M&A, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments and other corporate matters, with a particular emphasis on cross-border transactions into and out of the Nordic regions.

Ann has extensive experience in the technology (including fintech) and retail & consumer sectors, and her appointment provides further coverage for the firm's Corporate team to cover M&A and private equity activity throughout Europe.

The appointment comes as the latest of a number of lateral hires over the last 18 months that have significantly boosted the firm's ability to bring in substantive cross-border mandates. Combined with AG's expansion into both France and Germany via new office openings and team hires, it marks another step forward in the growth of the firm's international footprint.

Yunus Seedat, Corporate and Commercial Divisional Managing Partner, said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Ann to the firm. She has a proven track record and is the perfect person to help us continue to grow our pan-European deal capabilities, particularly in the Nordics.

Ann's technology deal expertise is also an ideal fit for AG. We are fiercely proud of our market-leading PE and M&A capability, and have had a very successful period advising growth companies and investors alike across most technology-driven sectors.

Ann's experience and abilities across these geographies and sectors will enable us to continue to build on these successes, and offer even more extensive service to our clients.
