Addleshaw Goddard's Professional Practices team has advised independent accounting and consulting network, Moore Stephens LLP on its merger with mid-tier accountants Chantrey Vellacott DFK LLP.

The merger, which will complete on 1 May 2015, will see the consolidated firm operate under the Moore Stephens name and brand. Current Moore Stephens managing partner Simon Gallagher will lead the amalgamated firm, with Richard Moore remaining as senior partner. Chantrey Vellacott’s managing partner Mike Tovey will be joining the firm’s Partnership Executive Committee.

The AG team was led by partner Aster Crawshaw alongside associates Laura Dauny, Shasicca Nava and Patrick Peake.
