Why did we create the Client Development Centre?


General counsel and their teams are under increasing pressure to add more value to their organisations, often with fixed or reducing resources - the ‘more for less’ task. Ensuring that the legal function is aligned with the commercial objectives of the business presents a complex set of challenges.

Today's senior counsel must be adept leaders who add significant value to their business. Anticipating this, in 2005, we created the Client Development Centre (CDC) to work with in-house counsel. The CDC breaks the mould and provides solutions to help in-house lawyers enhance their reputation and become real, critical business players.

Now in its twelfth year, the CDC continues to provide the bespoke advisory services and individual and team development programmes for which it has become so well recognised among leading in-house teams. Meanwhile, AG Consulting delivers to them a harder edge analytical and diagnostic capability, to help meet their evolving requirements.
