Another year of difference
We are proud to present our first Responsible Business Report, a comprehensive overview of our firm's dedication to ethical and responsible operations across all parts of our business. We’ve been reporting annually on our progress through separate Inclusion, CSR and Environmental Reports for a number of years, but this is the first time we’ve created a consolidated report covering all of these areas and more.
Amid increasing scrutiny on responsible business practices, our long-standing commitment has shaped our firm's culture, driving us to create an inclusive workplace, engage in impactful pro bono work, support our communities, and take significant steps towards environmental sustainability.
In this report you will hear first-hand from colleagues across the firm about the many ways in which they are contributing to our being a responsible business and the impact that they are having.
A few highlights from FY24 include:
- Joining the UN Global Compact and aligning our work to the Sustainable Development Goals
- Launching 2 new charity partnerships and donating over £600,000 to charity
- Increasing global pro bono hours by 16% and UK volunteering hours by 58%
- Formalising 3 new inclusion networks and launching new diversity targets
- Seeing a 58% reduction in our scope 1 and 2 UK carbon emissions
- Attaining a CarbonNeutral® Certification for our UK operations and business travel
- Onboarding EcoVadis to support our responsible procurement efforts

Read nowPreparing this Report has inevitably involved a process of reflection and left me with a great sense of pride for what we’ve collectively achieved. However, it has also been an opportunity to think about what more we can to do. So it has been useful for that reason, as well ensuring that we maintain our existing approach of being transparent about our responsible business journey.
