Halaina is an Associate in Addleshaw Goddard’s Corporate Finance team, and advises on a wide range of corporate transactions, with a particular focus on UK and cross board acquisitions and disposals, with additional experience in acting for private equity funds, public and private companies, large corporates, investments and exits. re-organisations.

She has experience in a broad range of transactions, including takeover bids (with experience in schemes of arrangements), acquisitions and disposals, private equity and general M&A.

Halaina has worked for a variety of clients in various industries, including but not limited to BGF, Elysian, Prestige Flowers, LDC, and Progeny.

Most notable recent transactions include advising:

  • PhillipCapital (a Singaporean headquartered financial house with over $35 billion of assets under management) in respect of the Acquisition which was governed by the UK Takeover Code. A concert party of individuals associated with PhillipCapital and its founder, Mr Lim, own 29% of Walker Crips. Deal worth 6 million.
  •  Operam Education Group Limited on the sale of its entire group structure (as supported by BGF), and prior to the sale, the acquisition of various entities of its Target Group
  • Sunbelts Rentals Limited on the acquisition of Acorn Film for £5.5 million
  • Elysian Capital on the acquisition of the entire group of Activate Group Holdings
  • Crime Fire and Defence Systems Ltd on its sale to Journeo Plc for £13.8 million.
  • Sopheon Plc in respect of its sale, which was governed by the UK takeover code, to IOps Buyer Inc, for £115 million
  • Animal Care Group Plc, on the sale of its subsidiary, Identicare Limited, to Bridgepoint Advisors II for £24.9 million
  • LIFT-Financial Group Limited on the sale of its entire group structure, including LIFT-Invest PLC, to Brooks Macdonald for £45 million.
