Yuliia is an associate of the Warsaw Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group. She has over five years of experience in advising clients on antitrust, merger control and foreign investment aspects of M&A transactions, including multijurisdictional analyses of notification obligations and guiding clients through processes before the European Commission and competition authorities in Poland and Ukraine. Yuliia has experience across diverse sectors, with a focus on mining and metallurgical, banking, energy, and real estate. 

Work highlights*

  • European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: providing advice on competition law matters related to the transaction concerning investment in R.Power Renewables, a Polish utility-scale solar photovoltaic developer and power producer.
  • Cerberus Capital Management: advising on merger control aspects of acqusition of 100% of shares of VeloBank, Polish bank. 
  • Cornerstone Investment Management: advising on merger control aspects of the transaction concerning the proposed acquisition of EcoWipes and Hydra Beauty & Clean, including coordination of the multijurisdictional analysis and notification to the Polish competition authority.
  • Mirova: providing advice on the competition law aspects of the transaction concerning investment in GreenWay, company active in the electric charging industry.
  • International automotive company: advising on the acquisition of portfolio of assets and entities in the automotive business.
