Expertise

Abi joined AG as a paralegal in 2015 and qualified into the Global Investigations team as an Associate in July 2024.

Since joining AG, Abi has gained a wide range of experience advising and representing the firm's corporate clients across a range of regulatory matters including health and safety, inquests and the Coronial process, investigations and fire safety.

Abi is also experienced in Public Inquiry work and has provided assistance to clients in some of the most high-profile public inquiries over the last 10 years.

Experience

Acting for a corporate Core Participant in the Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry.
Acting as part of the team on behalf of three bereaved families in the Manchester Arena Public Inquiry.
Acting for a client in the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. Assisting with the disclosure and the document review process.
Acting for a witness in the Post Office Public Inquiry established to gather a clear account of the implementation and failings of the Horizon IT system at the Post Office over its lifetime.
Supporting a client during an investigation relating to the management of asbestos.
HSE Investigation - acting as part of the team advising a national food wholesaler at inquest and during a HSE investigation following a vehicle collision at a customer site.
HSE Investigation - acting as part of the team representing a galvanising business in relation to a HSE investigation, prosecution and Coroner's inquest.
