Obi is an Associate within the Construction & Engineering group with experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. Obi has assisted in providing support to high-profile clients throughout all stages of complex construction projects, with experience in reviewing and drafting construction contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, and facilitating project execution. Obi's experience spans advice to both funders and developers. Recent experience of drafting and reviewing building contracts, consultant appointments, sub-contracts, collateral warranties, and other ancillary documentation evident on the following projects:
- Redevelopment and refurbishment of two turnkey, fully functioning and modern hotels located in Dublin City Centre.
- Large residential development of 205 units in Dublin.
- Significant student accommodation developments in both Cork and Dublin consisting of 623 units and 250 units respectively.
- Development financing for a large financial institution in connection with the redevelopment of a multidisciplinary sporting ground in Dublin.
