Zoe co-heads Addleshaw Goddard's Structured Finance & Securitisation practice and is also a Partner in Addleshaw Goddard's Funds Finance practice.  Zoe brings more than 20 years' experience at major international law firms in London.

Zoe has a particular focus across both the Speciality and Alternative Finance segment of the Structured Finance and Securitisation market, as well as real estate rental income strip and other real estate/loan-on-loan structured finance arrangements.   

Zoe is known for her extensive experience in providing hands-on support and guidance to non-bank lenders and their funders across a wide range of consumer and non-consumer related sectors and asset classes in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East, ranging from unsecured consumer loans, buy now pay later, asset finance/leasing and rental/hire to SME lending, first and second charge mortgages, bridging loans, commercial real estate loans as well as innovative FinTech lending platforms.

Zoe provides sophisticated and innovative solutions across senior and mezz borrowing base facilities, forward flow arrangements, origination and portfolio acquisition warehouse financings and securitisation transactions.

Experience

Zoe's recent experience includes acting for:

  • advising challenger bank on its >£1bn entry into the second charge mortgage lending market through forward flow arrangements.
  • advising long-standing client, FCA-regulated Fin Tech lender, on its funding journey: including >£200m senior and mezz borrowing base facilities, >£250m forward flow arrangements and >£250m revolving securitisation warehouse facility.
  • advising innovative fintech startup on its £160m forward flow arrangement, under which new-to-market evergreen revolving credit account receivables are sold, structured alongside AG's risk-weighted assets analysis.
  • advising long-standing clearing bank client on multiple borrowing base facilities; including its £100m innovative Sustainability (environmental and social impact) structured financing to a point-of-sale consumer finance platform and its £100m structured financing to a SME specialist lender, with backing from the British Business Bank under its ENABLE Guarantees scheme.
  • advising insurance and pension fund investors on structured ground rent / income strip financings utilising securitisation technology.
