Expertise

Maciej is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat) and more than 10 years of experience advising Clients in different industries. He advises on debt products in various industries and over the last years most notably on energy and infrastructure deals (wind farm, PV, waste-to-energy, roads), but also on the financing of different real estate asset classes (logistics, office, hospitality, PRS). He also regularly advises on loan hedging documentation. Maciej is involved with innovation initiatives in the Warsaw office and promotes use of legal tech tools in the daily work of the practice, as well as of the business teams in the firm.

• Advising a consortium of IFIs, ECAs and IFIs on the financing of Baltic Power, the first Polish offshore windfarm.
• Advising PAD-RES on the financing of the Genowefa PV plant in Poland.
• Advising PKO Bank Polski, Santander Bank Polska S.A., BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. on the financing for Grupa Pracuj S.A.
• Advising Meridiam and Urbaser on the financing of the construction of a waste-to-energy facility in Olsztyn, Poland.
• Advising EBRD and BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. on PLN 700m financing of the acquisition and construction of a portfolio of wind and PV farms.
• Advising a consortium led by Bank Pekao S.A. on PLN 10bn syndicated facility.
• Advising PKO Bank Polski on the financing of the acquisition of Bank Pekao S.A. by Polski Fundusz Rozwoju S.A.
