EXPERTISE

Ray specialises in finance transactions across multiple sectors. Ray regularly advises both borrowers and lenders in relation to acquisition financing, real estate financing, development financing, social housing transactions, funds finance and on a range of products across various fund sectors (including private equity funds and real estate funds). He acts for domestic and international financial institutions on syndicated and bilateral deals and for direct lenders in relation to both senior and mezzanine facilities. Ray has also acted for a number of large Irish corporates on the borrower side of financing transactions with a number of domestic financial institutions.

Experience

Recent Experience includes advising:

Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. in respect of multicurrency term and revolving facilities provided to an Irish leading global manufacturer and distributor of animal health products with various subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, the U.S. and Africa.
Bank of Ireland in respect of various development facilities (in the aggregate amount of €40,000,000) provided to an Irish developer for the purpose of developing in excess of 350 residential units across various sites in Dublin and Limerick.
Home Building Finance Ireland in respect of development facilities provided to an Irish developer to fund the development of 203 housing units at Avourwen, Drogheda, County Meath which are to be sold on the private market.
DunPort Captial in respect of acquisition facilities provided to Schivo Medical for the purpose of acquiring APN Inc.
Activate Capital in respect of development facilities provided to an Irish developer for the purpose of developing 203 residential units in Kiltiernan, Dublin.
