Expertise
Kate joined the Real Estate Finance Team in September 2015 following the completion of her Training Contract at Pannone LLP. Acting primarily for Lenders (domestic and international) and institutional investors, Kate works alongside the Finance Team on the property aspects of real estate finance transactions (both investment and development) in all sectors, including:
- student accommodation
- care homes
- hotels and leisure
- caravan parks and agricultural land
- retail
- offices
- Experience
- advising Greater Manchester Combined Authority in the initial funding of Deansgate Square, Manchester which involves the development of 4 residential towers reaching heights of 64-storeys and comprising 1508 apartments; and more recently acting on the forward funding agreements for two of those towers
- advising a major clearing bank on the refinance of 3 large investment portfolios, as well as leading the property side on the subsequent refinance of these facilities by a club of 4 Lenders
- advising a major clearing bank on the development of an outlet shopping village in the South East of England, including entry into agreements for lease with several international brands
- managing the property due diligence for 6 Lenders on the merger of four Housing Associations, which involved over 10,000 properties
