• Advised digital assets service providers on licensing and regulatory requirements in the mainland UAE, DIFC and ADGM.*
• Advised foreign and domestic fintechs and financial institutions on establishment, licensing and other legal and regulatory requirements in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.*
• Advised an international financial centre in the Middle East region on the development of a Digital Assets framework.*
• Defined the legal baseline governing the various fintech business models e.g., Blockchain, Digital Assets, BNPL, Robo-Advisory, Payments, Open Banking, etc and supported in designing the guiding principles of a new fintech legislation in a GCC country.*
• Supported a government entity in the Middle East region in the drafting of two legal instruments required for the implementation of an E-Invoicing framework.*
• Advised stored value facility service providers on licensing and regulatory requirements in the UAE.*
• Advised a government entity in the Middle East region on the legal implementation of a public investment management framework.*
• Drafted more than (15) licensing regulations and permits controls of the key ports services for a maritime sector regulator in the Middle East region.*
• Supported in conducting legal analysis and benchmarking study and reviewing of a public procurement framework for a Ministry of Finance in the Middle East region. Work included the development of the procurement documents' templates such as RFPs and RFQs as well as the relevant procurement contracts' templates.*
• Advised a government entity in the Middle East region on the legal requirements for restructuring the government revenues.*
• Supported a government entity in the Middle East region in the identification of the conflicts and alignment between a new fiscal policy and the existing laws and regulations.*
