Tomasz is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat). He has over 14 years’ experience in providing comprehensive legal advice to Polish and foreign entities in major real estate transactions in Poland and in the CEE region. He advises on investment and construction processes, as well as on sales and purchases of shopping centres, PRS projects, industrial buildings and offices. Tomasz’s particular focus is on structured portfolio transactions.
- Work highlights*
- NEPI Rockcastle: advising on the acquisition of: (i) Silesia City Center in Katowice for €405m; (ii) the Magnolia Park shopping centre in Wrocław from Union Investment for €373m; (iii) Forum Gdańsk Shopping Centre from Multi Veste 339 B.V., owned by Blackstone-managed funds, for €250 million; and (iv) Atrium Copernicus Shopping Centre in Toruń from G City Europe for €127m.
- Signal Capital Partners: advising on a joint venture with Echo Investment and Griffin Capital Partners to develop a student housing platform in Poland. The joint venture is aiming to develop, as a first step, an operating portfolio of 5,000 purpose-built student beds across Poland.
- Globalworth: advising on the €190m acquisition of the Skylight and Lumen office buildings located in Warsaw from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.
- Develia: advising one of Poland’s largest developers on the €100m acquisition of the Polish subsidiaries of Nexity, the leading French developer. With the acquisition, Develia increased the number of residential units under construction by ca. 1,400, and its land bank by ca. 2,200 units, in Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań.
- Chariot Top Group: advising on the €1bn acquisition of a portfolio of 28 retail assets including nine M1 shopping centres in Poland, from funds managed by Ares Management L.P., AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets and Apollo Rida, including the subsequent re-sale of part of the portfolio to EPP at €700m.
