Addleshaw Goddard, in association with Nasser Al Habsi & Saif Al Mamari Law Firm, is pleased to announce its role as legal counsel to the Tawoos Group in relation to its acquisition of NMC Healthcare LLC and Elegant Medical Center SPC (collectively, NMC Oman) from the NMC Healthcare Group.

This landmark transaction encompasses two hospitals and six clinics and marks a significant step in the Tawoos Group’s strategic expansion into Oman’s private healthcare sector. The acquisition aligns with the Group’s vision of enhancing healthcare services and contributing to the Sultanate’s economic diversification goals under Oman Vision 2040.

The Addleshaw Goddard team provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction, working closely with various stakeholders, including the joint administrators and NMC Oman's creditors, to negotiate and achieve a mutually beneficial outcome for the Tawoos Group, its creditors and the employees and patients of NMC Oman.
