Addleshaw Goddard's Dubai team has moved to a new office space in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre, supporting the firm's ambitious growth plans in the region.

The team has relocated to the Burj Daman Tower, moving from its previous location in Al Fattan Currency House, providing more space for expansion as the firm continues to grow its footprint in the region.

The relocation follows a strong period of income growth for AG's GCC team, which has seen it attract a number of significant lateral hires (including Head of Qatar Ahmad Anani from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in 2018) and continue to advise some of the largest clients in the market, including Multiplex, Diageo, Oman Investment Fund, Qatar Holding, QNB, Rentokil, G4S, Thermo Fisher, PZ Cussons, Kasamar and Dnata.

In November 2018 Andrew Johnston was appointed as the firm's Regional Head of the GCC, responsible for delivering the firm's three-year growth plans.

Andrew Johnston says: "We have achieved some great success to date in the region, and are focused on attracting new talent, continuing to win credible, market-leading mandates and further driving forward the AG brand in the region.

"Our relocation to Burj Daman Tower provides us with the perfect base to maintain our momentum and achieve these objectives, as we look to add further expertise to our team and deliver continued value and impact for our clients."
