Navigating a new world of work: how to thrive in a post-era landscape

Employment law reform is accelerating, with the Employment Rights Act 2025 (ERA) changing how organisations hire, manage and exit people.

Join us at our Autumn HR Breakfast Seminars 2026 where we will map the ongoing implementation of the ERA, including the changes due to be implemented in October 2026 and during 2027.

Please RSVP below to attend one of our sessions in London, Manchester or Leeds. There is also an option to submit a question to us in advance of the session.

Agenda:

08:30 - 09:00 Registration, breakfast and networking

09:00 - 09:55 What's next for employment law in a post-ERA landscape

This session will look at the ongoing implementation of the ERA and explore the upcoming changes due to be implemented in October 2028 (including changes to harassment and new rights of access to the workplace for trade unions), and in 2027. We will also review other key developments from the last 6 months and take a look at what else is on the horizon.

09:55 - 10:30 Terminating employment in the new world of work

In this session we take a deeper dive into how the ERA will change the way employers manage exits. We will consider the implications of the changes to unfair dismissal (including the new draft revised ACAS Code of Practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures). NDAs and restrictive covenants. fire and re-hire and collective redundancy consultation.

10:30 - 11:00 Coffee and networking
