Addleshaw Goddard’s annual Regulatory Essentials Programme delivers a dynamic and practical training series, equipping financial services professionals with the knowledge needed to navigate complex regulatory requirements. Highly valued by our clients, these sessions offer clear, accessible guidance on the latest legal and regulatory obligations. Each session is designed not only to build a strong technical foundation but also to provide timely updates on emerging regulatory developments with direct impact on businesses.

Regulatory Essentials is ideal for new joiners seeking a comprehensive introduction, as well as for experienced professionals in legal, compliance and business roles looking to refresh and enhance their expertise. With up to 200 participants from leading banking, lending, payments and investment firms attending each session, the programme offers an excellent opportunity to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

This year’s programme will run over 10 lunchtime 90-minute sessions covering crucial topics including the Consumer Credit Regime, Regulated Mortgages Regime, Payment Services Regime, Innovation in Money, and Regulatory requirements for Investments and Digital Assets. Registration details will be sent out prior to each session, so if you are registered to attend we ask that you make every effort to participate in each session. Anti money laundering and counter terrorist financing regimes, Sanctions and Bribery Act, FCA’s financial crime regime.

Regulatory Risk and Compliance

Wednesday 2nd December 2026

Why regulatory risk and compliance is important, risk management, governance, compliance and regulatory change management & horizon scanning.
