You are invited to join us at our Employment Law Conference 2026, where we will explore how the Employment Rights Act 2025 will reshape the workplace and what employers need to do now to prepare.

The Employment Rights Act 2025 represents a once-in-a-generation overhaul of employment law. It will fundamentally affect the relationship between employers, employees and trade unions, with practical implications for HR strategy, workplace culture and risk management. Our conference will focus on the key changes, and the practical and strategic steps employers should take to manage employee relations effectively in a period of unprecedented change.

Breakfast will be available from 8:30am, with the conference commencing promptly at 9:00am and concluding at 12:30pm.

Key topics will include:
  • Trade union access agreements – a step-by-step guide to compliance, managing union relationships and minimising disruption
  • Preventing sexual harassment claims – understanding the new duty to prevent sexual harassment, practical steps to protect your workforce and business, including exposure to third-party claims
  • Unfair dismissal reform – how removal of the compensatory cap is likely to redefine employment disputes, drive litigation risk and influence settlement strategies
  • Business immigration update – a concise overview of the latest developments and what they mean for recruitment, retention and workforce planning

At our sessions in Edinburgh and Glasgow, we will also cover:

Employee wellbeing – the growing overlap between employment law and health and safety, and how to build robust, legally compliant wellbeing frameworks

At our Aberdeen session, we will additionally cover:

Weight restrictions for offshore workers – legal and policy considerations, workforce engagement and practical steps to implement and manage this sensitive issue effectively

These sessions are designed for HR professionals, in-house counsel and business leaders who are responsible for managing workplace issues, shaping people strategy and navigating an evolving employment law landscape. The format will be interactive, with opportunities to ask questions and share experiences with peers.

Places are limited and we expect strong interest, so we encourage you to reserve your place as soon as possible.

We hope you can join us and look forward to welcoming you.
