Addleshaw Goddard has won a trio of awards at the 2016 NW Rainmaker Awards hosted by thebusinessdesk.com.

The team took away the accolades for Exit of the Year for the secondary buy-out of Citation from ECI Partners, Prolific Team of the Year and for the second year running Legal Team of the Year. The wins cement the firm's number one position in the market from a private equity, corporate, restructuring and banking perspective.

Both the banking and corporate teams continue to advise on the highest profile and value deals locally including; advising the selling shareholders of MPM Products on the investment by ECI, Fircroft's acquisition of One Key Resource, Accrol's IPO, Norcros's acquisition of Abode Home Products, the acquisition of Bifold by Rotork plc, the £200m unsecured revolving credit facility for Assura and advising Enterprise Ventures on its sale to Mercia Technologies PLC.

Paul Medlicott, Corporate Partner at AG stated: "We are delighted to take home three awards and to also be named Law firm of the Year two years in a row. These wins are testament to our position in the market, the hard work of our corporate, PE, BSR and Banking teams and our strong client relationships and we'd like to thank both for helping us win these awards.

We're privileged to have the region's best companies as clients and to continue to handle large-scale, high profile and value transactions. Despite Brexit and the slowing in the market, our pipeline for the remainder of the year is strong."
