Expertise

Rachel is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Division, specialising in employment and regulatory law. 

Rachel advises in relation to all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment and equality law. Rachel reviews contracts of employment, severance agreements, staff handbooks and various policy documents for clients on a regular basis. She also advises clients on areas of employment law such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, workplace investigations, working time issues, redundancy processes, long term sick leave and statutory leave entitlements.

Rachel has also worked with clients on claims brought to the Workplace Relations Commission including claims for discrimination under the Employment Equality Acts and the Redundancy Payments Acts, unfair dismissal and industrial relations matters. 

Rachel has also developed expertise in advising in areas such as statutory interpretation and on regulatory investigations in the public sector sphere.
