Expertise

Alice is a managing associate in the London construction and engineering team advising clients delivering and participating in construction and engineering projects, often in the context of complex, large scale or high value projects.  Her practice spans the energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate and transport sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

She is experienced in providing project developers, contractors, investors and financiers with strategic procurement advice, assisting with risk management strategies and drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts including EPC contracts, building contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, supply contracts, collaborative contracts, framework and call-off arrangements, early contractor involvement and consultancy agreements.  Alice is accustomed to working with both bespoke and industry forms of contract (including NEC, JCT, FIDIC).

She is well versed in acting on multi-contract projects and understands the importance of ensuring that related project contracts dovetail with one another.  Supporting clients with ongoing contractual management and dealing with post contract issues that arise has also formed a significant aspect of Alice's work, including negotiating, and settling different variation arrangements.

Alice has a particular interest in renewables and sustainable construction.
