Chris is a Legal Director in the Real Estate department having qualified in October 2014.
Chris has experience helping clients with a variety of real estate matters acting for institutional landlords and other clients with large property portfolios. Chris also works with a range of clients on a wide breadth of matters including landlord and tenant clients, developers, large investment funds, and public bodies.

Relevant experience includes advising:
- Miller Developments: acting in respect of the manufacturing, logistics, residential and mixed use development project at Omega, Warrington, its 25 year £1bn long-term development agreement of 575 acres at Omega Warrington with Homes England delivering transactions including the recently completed 500,000ft² Iceland distribution unit, the 300,000ft² speculate scheme forwarded funded by global investment fund Barings, the speculative scheme of 4 warehouses forward funded by Mountpark Logistics and the sale of five residential plots facilitating the development of circa 900 dwellings.
- Peel Land & Property: advising on various complex development schemes including the acquisition and ongoing development of the former Fiddler's Ferry Power Station, a proposed 820-acre development on the site of a former coal fired powered station and acting in respect of a £250 million development of Therme Manchester, a 28-acre thermal spa resort being developed in Trafford.
- WBC Birchwood Park: acting in respect of the mixed-use Birchwood Park estate (formerly a Royal Ordnance Factory which became a UK Atomic Energy Agency testing facility in the 1950s) with over 160 tenants leading on complex or high value transactions including pre-let developments of 12 units across the park with combined annual rents totalling over £2,500,000 and the letting of 106 Dalton Avenue to Cavendish Nuclear Limited for a 15 year term at an initial annual rent of circa £800,000.
- Network Rail: advising on a range of transactions relating to Network Rail’s eastern region (covering the length of the East Coast Main Line) including the sale of part of its Commercial Estate portfolio as part of a portfolio sale, as well as other development sales for Network Rail to facilitate additional residential development.
