Tarteel is an Associate in the Employment team at Addleshaw Goddard, advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She supports employers across multiple sectors, with experience in the education sector and in handling complex workplace disputes.
Tarteel trained at Slater and Gordon and qualified into the Employment team at Browne Jacobson. She has since developed a strong track record advising on employment tribunal claims, internal investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, and day-to-day HR issues. Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, she worked at Pannone Corporate, where she advised on a breadth of respondent matters giving her valuable insight into litigation risk and strategy.
She provides pragmatic, commercially focused advice to help clients manage risk while achieving their strategic objectives. Tarteel has a particular interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association Race Equality Committee, contributing to initiatives aimed at improving diversity within the profession.
Tarteel was admitted as a solicitor in October 2023 and holds an LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Law. She completed her undergraduate law degree at the University of Manchester in 2018.

- Advised a multi-academy trust on complex disciplinary and grievance matters involving senior staff, including safeguarding considerations and reputational risk.
- Acted for a national employer in the transport and logistics sector in defending an Employment Tribunal claim involving unfair dismissal, supporting case strategy from early conciliation through to hearing preparation.
- Advised an SME client on redundancy processes, including consultation obligations, selection criteria, and minimising exposure to unfair dismissal claims.
- Assisted a public sector organisation with reviewing and updating employment policies to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice, including equality and diversity considerations.

- Drafted an article in the ELA briefing 2025 on neurodiversity in the workplace: legal duties and implementation.
