Addleshaw Goddard Spain announces the promotion of Gonzalo Fernández as new partner in Corporate

Addleshaw Goddard has announced the promotion of Gonzalo Fernández as a new partner in the Corporate/M&A practice in its Spain office. This appointment reinforces the firm’s organic growth strategy and strengthens its position in corporate and transactional legal advice.

Gonzalo Fernández brings extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and strategic advice to national and international companies. Throughout his career at the firm, he has taken part in highly complex transactions, standing out for his technical approach, management capabilities, and his contribution to the development of the Corporate/M&A team.

Appointment of new Counsels

Addleshaw Goddard has also approved the promotions of Victoria Ruenes as Counsel in the Corporate team and of Cristina Esteban as Counsel in the Employment team.

Victoria Ruenes has developed a solid career in M&A transactions, corporate governance, and corporate advisory matters, participating in complex transactions with both national and international clients.

Meanwhile, Cristina Esteban brings extensive experience in Employment Law, with a particular focus on managing labour relations in companies across diverse sectors, restructurings, collective bargaining, and litigation.

In recent years, Addleshaw Goddard Spain has firmly backed an organic growth model built on the professional development of its lawyers and the retention of internal talent. The latest promotions to partner and counsel reflect the firm’s recognition of the effort, excellence and commitment shown by these professionals.
