Addleshaw Goddard opens for business in Amsterdam
International law firm Addleshaw Goddard (AG) has entered the Netherlands’ market with the opening of Amsterdam as its 22nd office.
The completion of the integration of leading independent firm Florent adds 17 partners and more than 60 lawyers in total to AG. The Amsterdam office situated in the heart of the city’s Zuidas financial district will continue to be led by Chris Jager and Kees van de Meent.
Chris Jager and Kees van de Meent, Heads of Addleshaw Goddard in Amsterdam, add:
"We are excited to open our doors as Addleshaw Goddard. Since announcing our plan to join Addleshaw Goddard we have received positive feedback from our clients and have already identified opportunities to work together with AG on cross-border opportunities. We look forward to supporting all of our clients doing business in, to and from the Netherlands.”
Addleshaw Goddard’s launch in the Netherlands follows successful office openings in Warsaw and Abu Dhabi in 2025, and in Madrid, Riyadh, four cities in Germany, as well as Dublin, Luxembourg, and Paris in recent years.
