Addleshaw Goddard advises StudentSpace on the acquisition of a plot for the development of a new student dormitory in Warsaw
Addleshaw Goddard (AG) has advised StudentSpace, a student housing platform developed by SIGNAL, Griffin Capital Partners and Echo Investment, on the acquisition of a plot in Warsaw for the development of a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) project.
The plot, located at the corner of Beethovena and Dziekońskiego streets, will be developed into a modern six-storey scheme, adding nearly 600 beds to Warsaw’s PBSA market. The facility is scheduled to open for the 2027/2028 academic year. This is the platform’s second project in Warsaw.
This transaction is another StudentSpace project on which AG has advised, following its advisory role on the joint venture behind the platform and earlier acquisitions of development plots.
The AG transaction team was led by Filip Witaszek (senior associate), supported by Joanna Roman (associate) from the real estate practice. Tomasz Trystuła (partner) supervised the advisory.

Kancelaria Addleshaw Goddard (AG) doradzała StudentSpace, platformie prywatnych akademików stworzonej przez SIGNAL, Griffin Capital Partners oraz Echo Investment, przy nabyciu działki w Warszawie przeznaczonej pod budowę nowego akademika.
Działka, położona u zbiegu ulic Beethovena i Dziekońskiego, zostanie zagospodarowana pod nowoczesny, sześciokondygnacyjny akademik, który dostarczy niemal 600 łóżek na warszawski rynek PBSA. Otwarcie obiektu planowane jest na rok akademicki 2027/2028. Będzie to drugi akademik platformy w Warszawie.
Nabycie jest kolejnym projektem StudentSpace, przy którym doradzał zespół kancelarii. Kancelaria doradzała również przy ustanowieniu joint venture oraz wcześniejszych nabyciach działek inwestycyjnych.
