Addleshaw Goddard advises Axiom Equity on the closing of Fund II

Addleshaw Goddard has advised private equity firm Axiom Equity on the closing of its second private equity fund, Axiom Equity 2 LP. Fund II will continue Axiom's successful strategy of investing in high-growth B2B SaaS companies in UK and Ireland.

As with its prior fund, Fund II’s investor base includes blue-chip institutional asset managers, insurers, banks and fund of funds, from the UK, Europe and North America. All of Axiom’s existing investors from Fund I participated in Fund II, along with a small handful of new global institutional investors.

The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by private funds partner Ben Cocoracchio, supported by funds associates Simon Lewin and Chloe Chiew. Tax support was provided by partner Kyle Rainsford.

 Ben Cocoracchio added:

"It has been a pleasure supporting Axiom with the next stage of their impressive growth journey. This fundraising was incredibly quick taking into account current market conditions, with closing taking place less than 12 weeks from when the first documents were circulated to investors. This success is a testament to the hard work and performance of the whole Axiom team".
