Addleshaw Goddard named Leading International Law Firm in Ireland
Addleshaw Goddard has been named Leading International Law Firm in Ireland at the 2026 LEAP Irish Law Awards, held on 12 June 2026 at the Clayton Hotel, Dublin.
The Irish Law Awards recognise excellence and innovation across the legal profession, bringing together practitioners from across the country to celebrate outstanding achievement, dedication, and impact.
The firm received the newly introduced Global Excellence Award, which recognises the international law firm that has most successfully established and integrated its presence in Ireland. The award is based on an independent, market-wide assessment carried out by the judging panel and research committee.
Firms were evaluated against a range of criteria, including market footprint and integration, cross-border and high-value work, leadership and innovation, and professional integrity and pro bono activity. The recognition reflects Addleshaw Goddard’s strong and growing presence in Ireland, its ability to deliver complex, multi-jurisdictional work for clients, and its continued investment in people, innovation, and the wider legal community.
More than 650 legal professionals attended the ceremony, representing private practice, in-house teams, the Bar, academia, and legal media. Across 34 categories, the awards highlighted the breadth of talent and expertise across Ireland’s legal sector.
Mark Walsh, Head of Ireland at Addleshaw Goddard, said:
“We are incredibly proud to be recognised as Leading International Law Firm in Ireland. This award reflects the strength of our team and the impact of our growing international platform. It also highlights the strong progress we are making as we deliver on our AG2030 strategy.”
This recognition underscores the firm’s continued growth in Ireland and its contribution to the Irish legal market as part of its broader international strategy.
