Addleshaw Goddard named first law firm corporate ambassador for SheCanCode

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has become the first law firm corporate ambassador for SheCanCode, a fast-growing global community dedicated to closing the gender gap in tech.

With over 300,000 users worldwide and an active network of more than 4,000 women in tech, SheCanCode offers mentorship programmes, university partnerships, and support for non-profit initiatives that help women build rewarding and sustainable careers in technology. The platform provides a vibrant space for members to connect, share knowledge, and access the latest insights, guidance, and events shaping the future of women in tech.

Kayleigh Bateman, Managing Director, Community & Partnerships at SheCanCode, continued:

"We’re delighted to welcome Addleshaw Goddard as a Corporate Ambassador. Their commitment to empowering women in technology aligns perfectly with SheCanCode’s mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry. Together, we’re creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, and inspiring the next generation of women in tech – and we’re excited for the work we plan to create together."

Addleshaw Goddard was recently recognised as one of The Times Top Employers for Gender Equality 2025, reflecting its ongoing work to create meaningful opportunities for women at every stage of their careers.

The firm’s internal programmes have been central to this commitment. Its long-running ‘How to Flourish’ initiative supports women on their path to senior leadership and, through partnerships with organisations such as Women4Women, encourages participants to give back by supporting women in need. The firm also runs the successful Parental Pods programme, which helps colleagues across all offices navigate their return from parental leave by providing practical support and fostering community.

Addleshaw Goddard places a strong emphasis on innovation as part of its broader commitment to progress. Its Innovation Graduate Scheme, which attracted more than 500 applications for the 2025 intake alone, brings diverse talent into legal technology and opens new career pathways. Meanwhile, the firm’s proprietary AI platform, AGPT, is used by more than 90% of employees, reflecting a culture that embraces technology to enhance both client service and employee experience.
