Addleshaw Goddard advises startup Xoople on new €22 million equity funding round, increasing total funding to €137 million

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised Spanish Earth intelligence startup Xoople on a €22 million equity funding round. The firm has also advised Xoople through all of its previous financing rounds, which now total €137 million in capital raised to date.

Xoople is pioneering the development of Earth intelligence, delivering a continuous stream of Earth data designed to be processed by large-scale AI, which integrates with geospatial reasoning and business intelligence to identify patterns, detect changes and generate predictive insights about our planet.

Xoople’s shareholder base includes both Spanish and international investors, including CDTI (a public body under the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities) and AXIS (a venture capital firm wholly owned by ICO – Instituto de Crédito Oficial, a Spanish state-owned bank). Xoople is one of the few companies designated as a Strategic Company by CDTI and represents one of the largest investments within its Innvierte programme.

This latest funding round, backed by both existing and new investors, will support the development of new product innovation and further strengthen Xoople’s position as a leader in Earth AI.

The Addleshaw Goddard team advising Xoople was led by partner Germán Cabrera, together with counsel Gonzalo Fernández and associates Álvaro Paniagua and Jorge López-Rey from the Corporate / M&A team.
