Addleshaw Goddard (AG) has appointed Francis Tyrrell as a Partner in its Planning & Infrastructure Consenting team.

Francis covers all forms of infrastructure consenting and operation, with particular experience in the ports, urban transit and airports sectors. He also advises clients on government affairs, parliamentary and legislative processes and public law.

He joins the firm from Pinsent Masons where he advised on some of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.

He has been consistently ranked as a 'leading individual' in the Legal 500 and is recognised for his parliamentary drafting and infrastructure promotion work.

AG has recently opened four new offices (Dublin, Luxembourg, Frankfurt and Munich) and in August reported a gross revenue increase of 18%. Addleshaw Goddard currently represents 48 FTSE100 clients and has been ranked within the top ten of the Thompson Reuter's UK Law Firm Brand Index.

Marnix Elsenaar, Head of Planning & Infrastructure Consenting at Addleshaw Goddard, said:

"We're delighted that Francis is joining us. He is an important strategic hire as we continue to implement our ambitious growth plans. Francis's statutory order drafting and parliamentary experience will further strengthen our ability to advise clients on the very largest infrastructure projects."
