Addleshaw Goddard advises Britvic on innovative renewable PPA with Atrato Onsite Energy

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised Britvic, the FTSE 250 global soft drinks business, on its renewable PPA with UK-based renewable investment trust Atrato Onsite Energy.

The partnership between Britvic and Atrato will deliver clean energy to Britvic via an innovative 10-year PPA, developed by Squeaky. Atrato will build a solar farm which generates electricity exclusively for Britvic, the energy received by Britvic will power 75% of its current operations in Great Britain. Atrato will supply Britvic with solar electricity that is commercialised on a pay as you generate basis but is delivered on a baseload basis that is consistent to the consumption needs of the company.

The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by Paul Dight, and included Jack Harris, Bernita Hartle and Uzma Malik.

This deal follows a similar PPA completed by the team with Flogas in Ireland earlier in the year which will power Britvic's Irish Operations.
