Prominent employment lawyer, Mike Burns has joined Addleshaw Goddard as a partner, a strategic hire for the firm that not only bolsters its Manchester offering, but adds significant strength to its national practice.


Joining from Eversheds Sutherland, Mike, who will lead the Manchester Employment practice, brings over 25 years of experience, advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. 

Mike, who is ranked as a leading expert in his field, is a key addition to the practice, as it continues to grow. His appointment follows on from the lateral hires of Shakeel Dad and Rebecca Kitson, (from Walker Morris and Eversheds Sutherland respectively) as partners in the Firm's Leeds office, all representing part of an ambitious growth strategy.
