Join us at Addleshaw Goddard LLP (Edinburgh office) on Wednesday 18th March 2026 at 08:30 for the launch of the Female Lawyers Breakfast Network (FLBN) in Scotland!

FLBN launched in London 3 years ago and it is aimed at legal professionals at all levels and cross-industry supporters of diversity and inclusion.

FLBN was a finalist in the “Diversity and Inclusion Programme of the Year” category at the UK Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2024. Founded by Tanya Dolan and Maddie Drabble in January 2023, FLBN has since hosted a series of successful events across London, Manchester, Cambridge, Dubai and Paris.   FLBN brings together senior, junior, and aspiring lawyers, alongside advocates for diversity and inclusion from across industries. The initiative is dedicated to empowering female professionals by fostering meaningful connections and providing valuable networking opportunities.

The morning will begin with networking over coffees and pastries, followed by a welcome from Addleshaw Goddard and an introduction to FLBN by Iona McEwan and Megan Farquhar (FLBN Scotland Leads).

A panel discussion will then take place in celebration of International Women’s Day featuring:

  • Patricia Thom – President of the Law Society of Scotland
  • Candice Donnelly – former Director of Corporate Law at Skyscanner
  • Dr Fiona Duncan – Associate at Addleshaw Goddard LLP

For more information about our panellists, see here

The panel will explore key themes around career development, mentorship, allyship and sponsorship.  While our primary focus is on women in the legal profession, we warmly welcome anyone who is interested in attending.
