AG are pleased to invite you to the next instalment of the firm's combined legal access scheme Ethnicity.Talent.Law
The aim of the scheme is to bring together students from ethnically diverse backgrounds studying at universities in Leeds and Bradford with people from Addleshaw Goddard LLP as part of a growing effort to increase ethnic diversity within the legal sector.
Lawyers from Addleshaw Goddard LLP will share their tips, stories, experiences and challenges in obtaining and undertaking a training contract at the firm and a member of the Early Careers team will provide an insight into some of the key skills that law firms look for in training contract applicants.
This 4 part event will consist of the following:
- Introductions and ice breaker: A quick introductory session for you to get to know your peers.
- Skills session: A session centred on what students should or could be doing to develop their skills and knowledge to equip them for making that all important application and to provide the students with a greater understanding about what law firms are looking for in candidates.
- Trainee tips session: Trainees from Addleshaw Goddard will share advice in regard to the training contract application process and their experiences of undertaking a training contract at the firm.
- Networking: The opportunity to network with trainees and fee earners from the Leeds office in an informal setting.
