Regulatory risk and compliance director (non – lawyer) with a record of complex implementation covering a wide range of products including consumer lending, banking, pensions and insurance.  Joined AG from industry after in house roles at RSA, Barclays and Tesco Bank. Responsible for developing and leading the AG retail regulatory practice. Regulatory risk and compliance is a fully embedded part of the wider financial regulation practice at AG and covers the whole range of advisory activity including authorisation, assurance, regulatory engagement and compliant process design and analysis.

Key advisor on authorisation and governance activity for a wide range of clients, including lead compliance adviser on ring-fencing authorisations for a Tier 1 bank. 

Part of a multi-disciplinary AG team who supported the launch of the bounce back loan scheme during the COVID pandemic

Lead advisor to several funeral plan providers as they transitioned into FCA supervision

Design of support tools to enable clients to undertake and evidence compliance with Consumer Duty including award winning fin tech tool called Consumer Duty Evaluator.
