Michał is a Polish-qualified lawyer (adwokat) with experience in a broad spectrum of banking transactions. His experience covers advising both lenders and borrowers on corporate, project, and real estate finance.

Work highlights include:

• Advising TAURON Polska Energia S.A. on a PLN 11bn loan agreement with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, utilising funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to modernise Poland's energy infrastructure and align with global energy transformation trends.*
• Advising a syndicate of banks on a PLN 600m financing of Lotos Asfalt, a subsidiary of Grupa Lotos, as an element of the repackaging of LOTOS operations in the context of its merger with Orlen. Because of the strategic character of LOTOS Asfalt business, the facility agreement is highly complex and tailor-made to reflect these considerations.*
• Advising Celsa Huta Ostrowiec sp. z o.o., one of the largest steel producers in Poland, on reorganisation of its financial indebtedness with various financial institutions which, following the scheme of arrangement in 2015, was due the end of 2020.*
• Advising Meridiam and Urbaser on a financing for a PPP project, high- efficiency waste-to-energy CHP plant to provide district heating*
• Advising PESA Bydgoszcz S.A. on the credit facility the company received from a syndicate of banks, with PKO BP S.A. as its agent*
