EXPERTISE

Alice joined the Leeds Commercial Team as an Associate in May 2021, having previously worked at a boutique IP firm in Leeds and in the Dublin office of one of Ireland's largest law firms. Alice has experience in advising a range of clients across a number of sectors on a variety of commercial and IP issues. Her experience includes advising on commercial contracts, IP licences, collaboration agreements and IP litigation matters.

Experience

• advising a large multinational pharmaceutical company on various collaboration agreements for research projects with universities in Singapore
• advising a large Italian luxury fashion brand on strike out proceedings and its defence to a trade mark and design right infringement claim brought against it in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court
• advising various UK household brands on the maintenance and enforcement of their IP rights, including advising on the registrability of potential trade marks, filing trade mark applications and issuing cease & desist letters to potential trade mark infringers
• issuing proceedings on behalf of a large UK bathroom manufacturer against a number of companies for registered design, unregistered design right and copyright infringement
