Expertise

Kayode is an associate with a breadth of experience acting on a variety of financing and infrastructure matters, advising financial sponsors, infrastructure corporates and financial institutions. He also enjoys advising on emerging market and venture debt transactions. He has completed client secondments at Goldman Sachs and Investec and is developing an expertise on large international energy projects, infrastructure projects, early stage debt and developing market lending.

Recent experience: 

• Advised the Eastern and South African Trade and Development Bank in relation to its involvement in a Mezzanine Facility in respect of a floating dry dock servicing vessels in the Ghanaian offshore oil industry.
• Advised Brookfield Infrastructure in relation to a €2bn financing on its acquisition of data centre firm operator Data4 from AXA IM.
• Advised a US private equity firm in relation to a $289m financing on an acquisition of an agricultural market research company.
• Advised an international development finance institution in relation to its financing of healthcare operations in Uganda, Kenya and Mauritius.
• Advised an energy infrastructure fund in relation to the refinancing of its interest in a leading renewable energy platform.
