Charlotte recently joined Addleshaw Goddard as an Associate in the Mainstream Real Estate department and prides herself on being able to adapt to a constantly changing legal environment, by continually developing here knowledge of property law, in order to support the needs of clients.  Charlotte's client base consists of public authorities, investors, developers, landowners, financial institutions, management companies and surveyors.

Charlotte assists Real Estate Partners for a number of institutional investors and advising them and other local authorities, quasi- public bodies and other property companies on all types of property-based transactions. These transactions include:

  • Lease variations, renewals, rectifications and creation
  • Wayleave Agreements
  • Licences to Alter and Deeds of Variation
  • Deed reviews and approval for clients’ in house departments
  • Land registrations, restriction applications and requisitions of registered and unregistered land
  • Deeds of Release of covenants and rent charges
  • Negotiating overage agreements, easements, transfers and long leases
  • Advising on the material issues of real estate project funding, disposal and corporate support instructions
  • Successfully obtained an Order for the ‘Missing Landlord’ principle pursuant to s.26(1) of the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 for a residential development during my training contract
