Addleshaw Goddard strengthens banking practice with appointment of partner Will Turner

Addleshaw Goddard has further strengthened its Banking & Finance practice with the appointment of Will Turner as a partner in London.

Will joins from Dentons, where he was a partner in the firm’s London office and a member of its Banking & Finance practice group. He brings significant experience across investment-grade and cross-over credit lending, with a strong focus on cross-border transactions and direct lending advice to debt funds.

Over the course of his career, Will has advised on numerous complex acquisition financings, acting for both borrowers and lenders, and has developed a reputation for delivering commercially focused guidance on sophisticated financing structures.

In addition to his core financing practice, Will has advised on a range of complementary areas, including restructurings, margin loans, fund financings and emerging markets transactions. He has also completed secondments with two major global banks and spent time working in Singapore with a previous firm, further extending his international outlook and multi-jurisdictional expertise.

Steve Mackie, Head of Finance & Projects at Addleshaw Goddard and the hiring partner for Will’s appointment, added:

“Will is an excellent addition to our Banking & Finance team. His experience across investment-grade and cross-border lending, together with his strong track record in complex financings, aligns closely with the needs of our clients and the strategic direction of our practice. We are very pleased to welcome him to the firm.”

The appointment reflects the continued growth of Addleshaw Goddard’s Banking & Finance practice and its commitment to supporting clients across the full spectrum of financing activity in the UK and internationally.
